Build Saliqmiut

Taimani (“At that time”)

Inuvialuit history is recorded in legends and stories, in archaeological sites, in museum collections, in photographs and documents preserved in archives, and in art and in books. Taimani means ‘at that time’ and is representative of our vision of the centre’s progress.

SALIQMIUT: Tuktuuyaktuuq Centre for Arts and Culture has the potential to be both a lightning rod for the arts community and a critical piece of tourism infrastructure for this special place on the edge of the Arctic Ocean.

Here we will build a source of pride, created with the combined effort of significant long-term envisioning, planning, funding and execution from all parties.
